SMART2B - Smartness to existing Buildings
The SMART2B project aims to (i) upgrade the smartness level of existing buildings through coordinated control of legacy equipment and smart appliances, (ii) implement interoperability in two existing cloud-based platforms that are currently available in the European market and, as a result of this project, will be able to operate as a single building management platform, (iii) create a user-centric ecosystem that empowers consumers by simplifying equipment and device control and is able to provide clear and concise information about overall energy performance, (iv) develop a smart performance assessment framework, capable of reporting building energy performance - in line with the principles introduced by the SRI - while extending these principles with the goal of allowing for dynamic performance assessments to engage users (v) implement four diverse building pilots (...)
